Trenches are used for lawn irrigation and for providing water or electric utilities to the
far corners of your property. Trenching is also the first step used when installing below grade drainage systems. For example, a trench may be cut into the soil where a perforated pipe is positioned to capture seeping water and move it away from the problem area.
