Harvest Landscape - Xeriscape

Xeriscaping refers to an approach to landscaping which attempts to reduce or eliminate the need for water or supplemental irrigation. In areas that experience water shortages, xeriscaping can be a smart choice. This technique includes the use of plants that are appropriate to the local climate, and steps are taken to avoid water loss due to evaporation and run off. Some of the common plants used in our area are agave, cactus, lavender and juniper.
